Although much of its countryside have been damaged during the civil war that started n 1975 and ended in 2002, there is still so much that the country could offer in terms of sights and views. This African nation is also rich in culture, which could also be seen in the many pictures that visitors of the country take and that travel all over the world via the internet.
If you want to find the best photos of Mussulo, Bué or any other province of Angola, just to get a clear view of how the country looks and what it offers to prospective tourists like you, scour through the internet and you are sure to find loads of them around. A lot of aspiring photographers, and even professional ones, are likely to post the pictures that they took at a place they visited and, if you are lucky enough, you might just find breathtaking pictures of Angola.
Sights to see: Photos of Benguela
Sao Felipe de Benguela, or simply Benguela, is second in ranking in terms of population size in the country of Angola. The city had been a port of the Portuguese from 1587 and was founded by Manuel Cerveira Pereira back in 1617. Benguela lives off on agriculture growing coffee, corn, tobacco, sisal and sugarcane. Such crops across the Benguela provide a picturesque view of the city.
Aside from these sights, however, the photos of Benguela would also show much of the development taking place all over the city. At the start of the 20th century, Benguela had undergone various methods in order to somehow get tourists as well as investors back by developing and retaining the quality businesses around the city. Perhaps some of the old attractions in the city could still be found as well, such as the churches of San Felipe and San Antonio along with few houses built from stone.
One of the best things you might ever find, when looking for pictures of Benguela, is the famous Baia Azul, which is home to the spectacular desert beaches. The city also boasts of its art deco architecture, which may have also been captured in film. The Benguela Rail Road, which had been closed because of the civil war except for the 30 km that connects the city to Lobito City, continues to provide fantastic scenery that is worthy of making it to the postcards.

Shawshank Redemption [VHS] $0.01 When this popular prison drama was released in 1994, some critics complained that the movie was too long (142 minutes) to sustain its story. Those complaints miss the point, because the passage of time is crucial to this story about patience, the squeaky wheels of justice, and the growth of a life-long friendship. Only when the film reaches its final, emotionally satisfying scene do you fully unde… |
