Stay At Venice Hotels And Sip Cocktails On The Canals
Visitors to Venice, in Italy, will almost certainly fall in love with this spectacular city of water. To really know Venice is to know Harry’s Bar, the city’s most iconic drinking place. Harry’s has been a legendary venue since it opened in 1931, with many famous figures like Ernest Hemingway, Alfred Hitchcock and Charlie Chaplin stopping in for a drink. It is also said that it was at Harry’s Bar both the Bellini cocktail and beef carpaccio were created, further marking its position as one of the world’s most important bars.
There are also many fabulous wine bars hidden away for those in the know, including Ca Doro, where you can lean against the bar and take in the atmopshere. It is places like these which continue to offer a taste of the real Italy, away from the bland tourist bars often found around the main sights and Venice hotels.
