There are innumerable fabulous Catholic churches all across the globe, but not all of them are good enough that can measure up to the majesty of the Temple Expiatory de la Sagrada Familia which can be found in Barcelona, Catalonia. In terms of size, details, and magnificence, nothing is comparable to this church designed by the very popular Antoni Gaudi. His vision for the church is such that it will be touted as the last great sanctuary of Christianity, and the great size of the work could very well make the church realize that status; the interesting fact is that the construction of the Temple Expiatory de la Sagrada Familia was started way back in the year 1882, and until now it’s still being completed.
You’ll somehow consider it interesting that the church Gaudi designed is still not yet done at present; it’s not that the church building project was put on hold, it’s just that from 1882, so much details and designs are supposed to worked into it that the projected date of completion is still sometime in 2026. This is the product of the vision of the Vivancos clan, a famous clan made up of four generations of wine growers and makers who have been painstakingly doing efforts, collecting winemaking artifacts from all over the world. The museum keeps wine pieces dated from hundreds of years Before Christ, coming from different countries and civilizations.
Without a doubt, several of their artifacts are depictions of the culture of wine drinking, wine growing, and wine making from different periods and nations like Greece, Rome, Egypt and a whole lot more. The museum also has a wide array of compilation of other things like five thousand drawings, two thousand prints, a thousand coins and medals, and over seven hundred sculpture creations. This museum is one of Spain’s frequently visited establishments and is one of the world’s finest art galleries housing an impressive collection of art masterpieces.
