What is a good type of art board to print on and what is a good printing service to go through?

I’m a graphic designer and have a bunch of digitally enhanced photos that I have done over the years. I would like to have them printed on some type of art panel that I can hang. Something that really makes the colors vibrant and clear. Also, looking for a good online printing company that can do this. Any suggestions?

My suggestions in steps:
1. choose a paper that fits the subject of your photos.
i.e. fine art paper for something textured, glossy for something with dark shadows, matte for something neutral. Keep in mind that every one has their own idea what kind of paper they like to print on. Most people will disagree. You need to choose the ones that suits you and your clients.
2. print them. (I suggest using www.mpix.com)
3. Mount them on foam core. (You can do this yourself or see if www.mpix.com has an option to have it done for you)
