Bakugan Battle Brawlers The Hit Holiday Game
Bakugans is a very popular Japanese television series (also known as “Anime”). Bakugan Battle Brawlers is a collection of toys and cards that are a fun interactive game. This is one of the top most popular toys for 2009, and the best part is Bakugans can be expanded and can create an amazing world for your children’s imagination!
At first glance, the rules may seem a tad complicated, but are easily understood after a couple rounds. Basically, players sit across from each other and put Bakugan Gate Cards on the battle board. Then each person, in turn, rolls their Bakugan onto the board. If the Bakugan rolls across a gate card it opens automatically and is ready for battle.
Each player begins with three Bakugan Battle Brawlers, Gate Cards, and Ability Cards Once you’ve got some experience under your belt and become an advanced player, you can add a trap to make for even more exciting play. Each Brawler has a point value. Gate Cards add to that value depending on the type of Bakugan that is on the card.
The battle begins when two Battle Brawlers meet on the same Gate Card. Next you add up all the points that you have with your Brawlers, Gate Cards and Ability Cards. Special text on the Cards can change the rules in a normal game. After that’s completed, the winner keeps the Gate Card and the Brawlers are put into the used pile. The first player to get three cards wins the game.
There are over a hundred Bakugan Battle Brawlers available, as well as many different Gate and Ability Cards, and Traps. This allows for endless variety during game play, not to mention the skill needed to get your Bakugan to land on top of the Gate Card.

This is a great game for the family to play together or with other children, as it’s interactive and face to face, without the use of a computer screen, or a hand held gaming system.
