The Stories of Spain’s History Reflected through Architectural Plan
Not all countries can boast of a cultural heritage judged through well-preserved architectural structures like Spain has; the structures one can find in Spain tells interesting stories about the historical landmarks of the country. You’ll be startled that there are still a lot of prehistoric structures that are preserved in Spain, especially in areas like the Balearic Islands and Avila. The buildings are simple, but they definitely already have a specific purpose; for example, the structures in Balearic Islands are used as tombs and defensive structures to keep out invading tribes. What’s incredible regarding the walled villages of Avila and Santa Tecla is that the prehistoric communities show some patterns similar to streets; this insinuates that some form of community organization was already in place during those era.
The Roman influence on Spain’s culture and architecture is also awfully emotional since they also did come under the Roman regime.
