How A Marin County Lawyer Got Her Revenge
Jenny Craig was a lawyer who lived and worked in Sausalito, the beautiful harborside community just across the Golden Gate Bridge. Living there was a real stretch on her budget, because she was just starting out in the legal game and was the new kid in her firm. She loved it though, and was happy to go without a few things.
However, things changed. After working hard for three years only to see a more well-endowed newcomer beneath her get promoted ahead of her, she got fed up. She knew it wasn’t because she wasn’t good at her job. She was very good at it. The reason the other girl got promoted was simply because she was sleeping with the boss.
That’s when it dawned on her: she was a victim of her sexist boss’s prejudices. He obviously had a thing going with Suze on the side. Jenny had two choices: she could either sue him or she could quit and set up her own legal practice.
She decided just to go. Jenny was a smart young woman and knew that she had to make some changes in her life if she wanted to succeed. She went on a weight loss program, for starters. Pretty soon, she was looking so good, her old boss asked her if she wanted to come back. She just laughed and walked away.
Next, Jenny changed her name. She wanted a name that would draw attention to her for the right reasons, so she changed it to Marin Mirin. With a catchy name like that, she quickly started attracting clients. Many of them were clients who had formerly been with her old employer.
And it only got better! About six months later, Suze approached her. She had gained some weight and as a result, the boss had dumped her and found another lover. Marin offered her a job and some advice about diets that work.
Marin and Suze made a great team. They were hard workers who shared both an ambition to succeed and also had a burning desire for revenge. They became the hottest legal team in town, both in skill and looks. They took on a third partner when their old boss’s girlfriend got sick of him. Together, they became the ‘Charlie’s Angels’ of Marin County.
Today, Marin and her associates are the most successful law firm in all of Marin County. Their old boss slowly sank into an alcoholic stupor and is now lucky to get any clients at all. The girls are enjoying sweet revenge and success!
