The three basic chords which are used in each and every tune are the major, minor, and dominant guitar chords. When major chords are used in happy moments, sad songs are represented by minor chords.

• The naming of the chords is done according to the letters.
• A minor chord is denoted by ‘m’.
• ’7′ is used to denote a dominant chord.
• a chord which doesn’t have either of the two is a major chord.

Online guitar chords are kept between two vertical lines which is known as a bar. Once you have collected enough knowledge about the basic types of guitar chords then you should know how to implement your knowledge. The diminished chords which are also used in the music add a minor third to them. If you want to develop a half diminished chord, then a diminished triad is added to the major third on the top. When you re-arrange the online guitar chords, inversion is said to occur. By adding a seventh note to the chord, seventh chords are formed. The seventh chord is represented as A7, G7, etc.
