Swtor Class Guide

The works of Bioware and LucasArts is the Star Wars the Old Republic (SWTOR). This game is a multiplayer online gaming and is based on the big screen film Star Wars. The timing of the story in the game dates back to time of Anakin and Luke Skywalker. The game of the theme works around two of the larger alliances- the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. Many events in the galaxy are influenced by the war and battles between these two alliances. They effect the formation of smaller alliances and there is clash between the Jedi Order and the Sith Lords. There are eight classes in SWTOR. The Sith Empire is the friend of four class and the other four are with the Republic. All the eight classes are based on the actual characters of the movie ‘Star Wars’. The classes are the Jedi Consular, Jedi Knight, Smuggler, Trooper, Sith Inquisitor, Sith Warrior, Imperial Agent and Bounty Hunter.

 

The class of Republic Trooper is one of the ranged classes. It uses firepower and flamethrower type weapons and gadgets to deal damages. This Trooper is heavily protected. Smuggler class prefers light clothing. They make use of stealing and nimbleness to face the hard situations. Jedi Knight is famous and they use the lightsaber to deal the noisy riotous fight and ranged damage. Like the Jedi Knight the Jedi Consular also uses the force and is also genius in using the force for political negotiation and foresight. A lot of gadgets are used by the stealth based class of the Empire’s smuggler. They are also the Imperial Agent. The Bounty Hunters corresponds to the Republic Troopers. They are ranged in their class. They use rockets, grenades and items of similar type to deal with damage. The Sith Warrior is similar to the Jedi’s. They are capable of using force to deal critical damage. A double-bladed lightsaber is used by the Sith Inquisitor. They are supported by the Sith Empire.

 

The characters in the Star Wars: The Old Republic can choose specialized careers in Advanced Classes. As the players character gets known about the game, and then the player will be given a chance to take one of the two Advanced Classes. This decision is very important to the player as he has created his own character in the game. This determines not only the player’s character in the game but will help in defining the player’s role in The Old Republic. Besides the players Class-specific Skills and Abilities, if he chooses Advanced Class then it helps in accessing the role-defining Abilities. It will help him to gain access to additional areas of expertness. This allows him to have new weapons and armor type weapons. The player’s character can be further customised by three sets of skills available in the Advanced Classes. The Advanced Classes open up with three Skill Sets and each set have their own skills. Like Advanced Class, these skill tests help the player to display their character.
