State Of Kansas Child Pornography Laws?

Somebody told me that there is a statute of limitation on child pornography, I.E., If the child who is in the nude photo is now the legal age, there can be nothing done about the photo being taken…is this true?

i don’t want to know the back story that brought this question up but i’m pretty sure child porn is a federal thing and i’m pretty sure if the image is of an underaged child, at the time of the picture being taken, then there really shouldn’t be any statutes to it. look at the child porn rings that have been busted up over the years. they never asked if the kids are legal now.
