Making Use Of Fire Pits For Fundraisers
Fire pits are quite useful under a variety of circumstances. Their traditional use is for a small and contained fire that burns in the backyard. With this fire, you can eat, roast marshmallows, host a party, and do several other creative things. You can also use your fire pit as a cooler when there’s no fire in it. It becomes an outdoor chiller when filled with cold drinks and ice. There are also commercial properties that utilize fire pits to enhance their look. You can find them outside of restaurant parking areas, in office building lobbies being used as planters, or near swimming pools or beaches. Non-profit organizations often use them for fundraisers.
Good causes are the raisons d’être of most non-profit organizations. Though there are innumerable great causes, fighting cancer is among the most valuable and important. Cancer is the most fatal illness in humans and it is often hard to beat. In recent years,a lot of development has been done, to put it simply. This disease can be conquered with early treatment. Living will continue. It is important for early detection of cancer to get mammograms,prostrate exams,colonoscopies and other related tests to be done. Walkathons are a successful way to garnish financial support for the cause of fighting cancer. This type of activity is popular and shouldn’t discourage participation. Not as many people will participate if you host a run. If you advertise your fundraiser as a walk, people participating won’t feel pressured to travel fast.
Fire pits are pertinent here since the fire represents life. It may be a good plan to situate a fire pit on either side of the table for registration. “Keep the flame burning” or “More Checkups More Often” should be the general gist of the slogan. This is not the catchiest phrase, but you get the idea. What is vital is that a couple of flames that burn are symbolic of life going on. Words on a poster – such as the slogan above – are good, but there’s nothing like a unique visual to catch someone’s attention. One of the most vital things is a visual such as a fire pit, as individuals will remember it after a fundraiser, whereas a slogan probably won’t.
Consider using fire pits as an easy way to fundraise money for community organizations.
