The Stories of Spain’s History Reflected through Architectural Design
History leaves its footprints in many unusual manner; it can leave its mark on a nation’s language, arts, and most especially in its architecture. The Cathedral of Avila is one such structure, with Roman, French, and German influences. The Cathedral of Avila is the first Gothic building with delicate clues of past Roman influences but with more French and German factors worked in it.
There are so many other structures that are worth visiting in Spain and which will really give you a viewpoint concerning their history. Furthermore, to be able to see them all, you’ll need to spend several months in the country.
