How can I hang heavy posters without damaging the wall or poster (no holes)?

Well, they’re not really posters, they are heavy wall covering samples I need to display. I’ve tried velcro and they fell after a few days. I can’t put holes in the paper or wall. What can I use that won’t damage the existing (very expensive) wall covering when removed? Hot glue, double-sided carpet tape? Will these damage them?

You can get glue dots. They’re removable adhesive that won’t damage the poster or the wall.
