Large companies like GameStop and Valve are putting on various special offers. The latter have a sale on a selection of their games on Steam as well as some of the merchandise in their store. GameStop advises lovers to “Turn your special date night into a late night with game night”; you can save ten per cent if you buy two or more new games and use the code “datenight”. For the especially lucky perhaps a competitively priced 3DS is on the cards?
Food and Drink
Admittedly restaurant dining may not be quite your (or your significant other’s) style; there are other options. Ordering in your significant other’s favourite food (or, better yet, making it yourself; has Cooking Mama taught you nothing?) so you have supplies sufficient for a video gaming all nighter would definitely win a great many hearts. Energy drinks could be replaced with, if you’re of age, a decent tipple (also Wii games always get more interesting with a bit of booze).
Cards
Always important no matter what anyone says. Even those who say they “don’t do cards” tend to treasure any that they receive. There’s a vast choice of pre-made video game-themed designs for you to choose from online, but making your own from scratch will definitely earn you more XP. Remember:
