Giant Posters
Posters have always had a place in the art world. People have been interested in posters of all sorts since the first posters became popular with the early movies. Besides the old movie posters, there: motivational posters, music posters, football posters, giant posters. These posters come in all sizes from the small fourteen by sixteen to the giant wall murals.
Sports and music posters seem to be most popular with young people who want them to decorate their rooms with their favorite music stars to their favorite sport or sport team. Poster have a place in the home, not just with the teens in their rooms, but in the recreation rooms and where there is a home theater you will find movie, opera or theater posters. Giant wall murals can also be found in these rooms.
Posters to inspire someone to do a good, or better, job at something like sports can be considered motivational posters. Seeing good sports plays by a favored team player or team can inspire a child to do a better job in his favorite sport. When the child knows that grades can determine if he/she can play on their favorite school team, the inspiration to get better grades is there.
Music posters are very popular with young children and teens today. They can get posters that depict their favorite music groups of individual music idols. There are posters that have only the artist’s musical instrument depicted. Music posters can become motivational posters if the child is learning to play an instrument. Seeing the poster daily gives that child the incentive to as good an artist as his favorite music stars.
Posters are not just motivational or inspiring; they are also colorful additions to rooms such as the recreation rooms and entertainment rooms. Music posters and movie posters in a home theater give you the feeling that you are truly at a movie theater. Some posters can be hung on the wall to be there at all times and some posters are put up for special occasions such as the football poster on Super Ball Sunday.
If you want to be motivated or inspired, or if you just want to enjoy the colors and photography, get a poster or a giant wall mural for your favorite room in the house.
