Tampa Bay Rays third baseman Evan Longoria is an All-Star who many longtime baseball fans consider the best overall at the position since Mike Schmidt and George Brett in the 1970s and 1980s. Longoria is also a sought-after advertising pitchman, which can be attributed to both his skill afield and his looks. But if anything in the Barstool Sports post “Hey Evan Longoria; Stop Sending Me Pictures of Your @$&%…Sincerely Jenna” is true, then this young man may have to answer to his sponsors, his team and the league offices.

Evan Longoria supposedly was Jenna’s Facebook stalker
Jenna, who Barstool doesn’t identify further, claims that Evan Longoria found her Facebook account a few years ago “via Internet stalking” (something this cash advance portal assures its customers it will never do to them) and struck up a chat. After a while, says Jenna, the Rays third sacker sent her a nude photo of himself that showed only his lower half. The lovely photo came with a lovely note (she claims) that asked “Like that, babe”? Jenna’s response to all of this was “If I wanted to see gross (expletive) d!@$#, I would spend my entire (expletive) day on Chat Roulette”.

Evan Longoria was already forging a trail before he hit the big time. But all of that wasn’t enough to charm Jenna, clearly. On Barstool, she writes that the whole sordid affair “isn’t as entertaining as I would like it to be.
What’s with the timing, Jenna?
It’s easy to assume that because Barstool Sports publishes out of Boston, and the Tampa Bay Rays are currently dominating the Red Sox in the American League East, perhaps Jenna is trying to mess with the Rays’ best player. You claim it was simply a naughty office conversation that led to your admission that Evan Longoria had sent you the offending pic via text. Judging by the tone of her Barstool Sports post, she is less than enthused by the whole concept. Athletes and other celebrities should come away from this with the knowledge that sending those kind of pictures through cyberspace never turns out well. Let’s see how the Evan Longoria-boxed MLB 2k10 video game sales go after this (alleged) incident.
