Star Wars 3d Due In 2012
It was announced recently the entire “Star Wars” catalog is being edited for a release of “Star Wars” 3-d run. Each one of the films is having the 3-dimensional treatment. It will take awhile though. The very first isn’t really due out until 2012. The releases, which aren’t set in stone yet, can be in story order. The last three films that will be launched within the 3-d run can be the original trilogy, so the prequels will naturally be first. It’s nearly time to see ‘Star Wars’ in 3-d picture
Right now, Hollywood is on a kick. This kick consists of all the three dimensional illusion films being made. “Avatar” and “Clash of the Titans” are just two of the biggest hits to have come out in both two dimensional and three dimensional versions in the last few years. The engineering has come out to help make “Star Wars” 3-dimensional with George Lucas and Industrial Light and Magic. Lucas film said, The Telegraph reports, the job will not be done super easily. The series will be much better in three dimensional versions after every single detail has been made 3-dimensional.
2012 can be the first one
“Episode 1: The Phantom Menace” can be the first “Star Wars 3-D” movie to be launched. The chronological order of the story will be followed as the series is released. A release date is the large question. There is no exact date at present. A release date in 2012 is the goal so far. The Hollywood Reporter tells us that 3-dimensional technology is something George Lucas may nevertheless need to be convinced of. The movie “Avatar” is what changed him. That’s when his mind completely changed. There is not any word on how long it will be between releases.
Making sure theaters have the engineering
There aren’t too numerous theaters that have 3-D capabilities right now. Each year more and more theaters get 3-d capabilities. In fact, you will find about 500 each year changing. This technology is blossoming into its adolescence as more films are released in 3-D. There is not any update on whether “Indiana Jones” or “Clone Wars” series will become 3-dimensional anytime soon.
