I want to do Aboriginal Art on Canvas but not sure witch paint will be the best type?

could someone please help me chose the right paint please..and also what will be the best canvas to use for Aboriginl painting as their are diffrent canvas as well..

oil paint. its the oldest paint in existence and is the only paint that can be made with natural materials.
Acrylic paint was made in the 20 century. Not to mention oil paint is thicker and bolder and will give you a better texture and application for what youre painting.

as for canvas? If you wanna go all out, buy animal hide. I have no idea where/how you would buy it, but im sure its attainable. Normal canvas is pretty standard and i cant imagine aborigines using linen for painting on.
