Any words of wisdom before starting p90x?
im 16 years old, just bought p90x. im starting tomorrow. any words of wisdom/ advice before i start?
i have been doing p90x for months now…..heres some great tips
1) Tracking your progress is key…..take the before pictures and take them every couple weeks…write down all your measurements for ur biceps and stuff
2) When you do the biceps and arms and back and leg DVDs, MAKE SURE TO WRITE DOWN HOW MANY REPS AND HOW MUCH WEIGHT YOU USED for each move!!!!!…that is the best tip ever….which he even tells you how to do during the videos
3) Take the first week easy….when i did the ab ripper x the first time i could honestly not walk for 2 days…it was horrible…so dont over use ur body the first week…after a couple weeks u can really start pushing yourself
4) Your not gona be able to do the entire DVD and do every move…..the plyometrics dvd is INSANE…so what i did when i first started out was i would only do each move for a certain amount of time and then take a break while they keep goin on the TV….this way i would do every move
5) Dont drink to much water while u do the cardio
6) Make sure to get a good protein drink to use after the weight lifting videos
7) Always remember that the P90X really does work…..it has honestly changed my whole family’s lives….if u stick with it you WILL gain muscle mass and you WILL lose weight
